Tuasan Falls Key Features & Activities

  • 20-meter waterfalls: This falls is much shorter compared to the Katibawasan Falls. However, the water flowing from above is powerful, plunging into a clear rock of pool, surrounded by trees.
  • Cold water: After a long drive from Mambajao, taking a dip in the water will cool you off as you take a dip.
  • Tourist-friendly environment: The spot includes restrooms, snack stands, lifeguards, and a spacious parking lot outside.
  • Swimming: The natural pool is safe and clean, ideal for cooling off.
  • Photography: The dramatic backdrop of jungle and cascading water makes it a dream for travel shots.

How to Get to Tuasan Falls

Tuasan Falls is located in Catarman, about a 20-minute drive from Playa Del Fuego in Mambajao.

The easiest way to get there is by renting a motorbike, which gives you flexibility and a bit of adventure. Just keep in mind that the road can get steep in some areas, so ride with care and enjoy the journey.

Here are other options that you can do to get to Tuasan Falls:

  • By Tricycle/Motorela: If you’re not up for driving yourself, hopping on a tricycle is a solid option. It usually costs around ₱200 or $3.50 for a one-way ride. It’s a slower pace, sure, but it’s a laid-back way to enjoy the scenery while someone else handles the road.
  • By Tourist Van: Some day tours include a stop at Tuasan Falls, making it easy to experience this natural gem without the stress of planning. For a hassle-free adventure, I highly recommend booking a day tour here. They’ll handle everything so you can simply enjoy the ride and soak in the sights.

Tuasan Falls Opening Hours & Fees

Tuasan Falls is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Once you reach the parking area, it’s just a short walk to the falls, surrounded by towering trees and lush jungle that instantly sets the tone for a mini adventure.

If you can, aim to arrive early. You’ll likely have the place to yourself, making it perfect for a quiet swim or uninterrupted photo session. No crowds, no photobombers, just nature at its best.

Here’s the updated prices & fees of Tuasan Falls as of August 2025:

  • Parking fee: Free
  • Entrance fee: ₱75 or $1.30 per person.

That’s it. Tuasan Falls stands out as one of the most budget-friendly destinations in Camiguin.

With its natural beauty and low entrance fee, it’s proof that unforgettable experiences don’t have to come expensive.

Tuasan Falls: My Experience

My visit to Tuasan Falls was a refreshing escape, though getting there was a bit of an adventure. We rode out from Mambajao on a motorbike, and just as we hit the uphill stretch, the rain started pouring. The road was steep and slippery, which made the drive a little tense, but also kind of exhilarating.

Once we reached the falls, the sound of rushing water and the cool wnid instantly made the trip worth it. It was the kind of contrast that makes travel memorable: a bumpy ride followed by pure calm.

Tuasan Falls is absolutely worth the stop. Make sure to add it to your Camiguin itinerary. The mix of scenic beauty and refreshing atmosphere makes it a standout experience, especially after the thrill of the ride getting there.
