Tongatok View Deck: My Experience

While driving up to the Sunken Cemetery on day two of our trip, we totally stumbled upon this hidden gem. It wasn’t even on our itinerary. We had no idea it existed! But that unexpected detour turned out to be one of the highlights of the day.

This stunning spot suddenly came into view, completely unexpected. The panoramic scenery was too captivating to ignore, so curiosity got the best of us. We pulled over, soaked in the breathtaking sights, and snapped a few photos to remember the moment. It was one of those spontaneous stop-over that ended up being unforgettable.

It was conveniently tucked right along the roadside, with a spacious parking area that made pulling over effortless. No entrance fee, no parking charges, just pure, spontaneous discovery. We didn’t even know the name of the place until we asked some friendly locals who filled us in.
