If you are chasing epic views in Camiguin, Tongatok View Deck and Cliff should on your itinerary. This spot’s got dramatic coastal vibes, killer photo ops, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for a quick flick.
You’ll find the viewpoint right along Camiguin’s Circumferential Road. It is super easy to stop if you’re cruising towards the Sunken Cemetery or the Old Gui-Ob Church Ruins. It’s one of those quick roadside stops that’s perfect for stretching your legs and soaking in the view.
No matter what you’re riding, whether it’s a motorbike, car, or a tourist van, you can easily pull over along the roadside. It’s the kind of spot where you can snap a few photos, take a breather, and just enjoy the scenery without any hassle.
There’s no sign pointing you to the spot, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled. It’s one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it roadside spot. Just watch for the railing and that wide-open view of the sea, and you’ll know.
To make sure you’re at the right spot, drop a pin on Chan Lookout Point in Google Maps, not Tongatok View Deck. That’s the name it actually shows up as, even though locals know it by the Tongatok name.
While driving up to the Sunken Cemetery on day two of our trip, we totally stumbled upon this hidden gem. It wasn’t even on our itinerary. We had no idea it existed! But that unexpected detour turned out to be one of the highlights of the day.
This stunning spot suddenly came into view, completely unexpected. The panoramic scenery was too captivating to ignore, so curiosity got the best of us. We pulled over, soaked in the breathtaking sights, and snapped a few photos to remember the moment. It was one of those spontaneous stop-over that ended up being unforgettable.
It was conveniently tucked right along the roadside, with a spacious parking area that made pulling over effortless. No entrance fee, no parking charges, just pure, spontaneous discovery. We didn’t even know the name of the place until we asked some friendly locals who filled us in.
