Katibawasan Falls: My Experience

By the time we arrived at Katibawasan Falls, a few groups were already enjoying the water and snapping photos, which is why coming early makes all the difference. If you want that quiet, uninterrupted moment with the falls, aim to get there right when the gates open.

Compared to Tuasan Falls, Katibawasan Falls feels more developed. You’ll find concrete steps leading down to the pool and benches for resting. It’s clear they’ve made it more accessible for visitors, though it still retains its natural charm.

Even with the early crowd, the experience was unforgettable. Floating in the cold water and look up at the towering 70-meter drop, I couldn’t help but feel small in the best way.

It’s one of those sights that makes you pause, breathe, and just marvel at how wild and beautiful the world can be.
