If you’re planning a chill day in Camiguin’s, Ardent Hot Spring is a must-visit spot, perfect for soaking in warm, volcanic waters surrounded by nature.   • Natural Geothermal Pools: The natural pool is coming from the Mount Hibok-Hibok’s volcanic heat. The spring features multiple man-made pools with temperatures around 40°C or 104°F.
  • Tropical Setting: It is surrounded by a rainforest, stone formations, and decorative plant.
  • Multi-Level Pool Layout: You can find four main pools, with water flowing from the top. The largest pools are at the bottom which is connected by an arched footbridge.
  • Small Cafe: You can also find a cafe nearby the spring. It offers local dishes, drinks and snacks.
  • Soaking & Relaxation: Take a dip in the natural pools to ease muscle tension after exploring the island.
  • Evening Chill Session: The cooler evening air compliments well with the warm pool water. This is when tourists and locals tend to visit.

How to Get to Ardent Hot Spring

Ardent Hot Spring is located in Mambajao and is nestled between the forested area of Mount Hibok-Hibok, in the town of Tagdo. You will also see a bunch of signs in the main road on where to drive towards the spring.

The trip on the way is scenic, passing through quiet villages and pure greenery, making the journey part of the experience.

It is only a short 10-minute motorbike drive from Playa Del Fuego.

Ardent Hot Spring Opening Hours & Fees

Ardent Hot Spring is open daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. However, the natural pool is scheduled to be cleaned every Wednesday, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Here are the updated prices & fees as of August 2025:

  • Entrance fees per person:
    • Adults: ₱30
    • Children: ₱15
  • Rentals:
    • Table (3 hours): ₱150
    • Family Shed (first 3 hours): ₱150
    • Regular Shed: ₱70
    • Overnight Camping (per person): ₱125
    • BBQ Grill (optional): ₱20


If you plan to stay longer, Ardent Hot Spring also has available accommodations like duplex cottages or dormitory rooms.
